On occasion of the Centennial Commemoration of the 19th Amendment, Chick History, in partnership with the Beck Cultural Exchange Center and East Tennessee PBS hosted a women’s panel inspired by Chick History’s project Protecting the Legacy.
Black women leaders came together to discuss education, voting and political organizing from the Jim Crow era to today. The pieced aired Sunday, April 14, 2019 on East Tennessee PBS.
